The production database generated by Tree-D's Reports and Database Module uses an open source database manager. This means any SQL compliant software program can access the information contained therein. Many existing databases already contain production information from years' worth of production totaling millions of logs and tens of millions of individual sticks of lumber. This information can be analyzed to quickly reveal subtle long term trends relative to machine performance, lumber diet, and other aspects of mill operation that would be hard to detect in other ways.

Tree-D's staff can produce customized analyses of historical production data from the mill production database. All these analyses use industry standard SQL database queries that can subsequently can be imported into programs such as Microsoft Access(tm), Microsoft Excel(tm) or other off the shelf reports generator programs.
